YSTRAD MYNACH GREYHOUND STADIUM

This site is not an official website for the track shown here and is neither approved or endorsed by the stadium. I am indebted to Richard English for helping to construct this page.

The greyhound track in the Ystrad Mynach region of Hengoed, Galmorgan at 3° 13' W 51° 37' N was known as the Valley and first opened for racing on 20th July 1976. It has operated independently throughout its history. The track is situated on Twyn Road and has a circumference of 410 yards. It runs sprints over 310 yards, standard races over 515 yards and distance races over 720 yards.
